Some notes of the trip:
The connection will be bad
People will look at you
You will stick out
Everyone is nice and welcoming and you are not in danger
People are proud of the mountain; it is sacred, and most who live in the mountain villages cannot afford to climb it
Things you will experience during your trip are considered a luxury to them
Tanzania is our motherland, it is our home
