High Sierra Trail - Crescent Meadow to Precipice Lake

Out and back, starting at the Sequoia National Park crescent meadow and Precipice Lake's end destination. Our original goal for this short backpacking trip was to get to Moraine. However, the weather delayed this as a big thunderstorm rolled in early on our day two venture. The trail was easy to follow, with plenty of camping and many hikers this time of the year. Mosquitoes are at their worst in August, which means lots of pre-deeting gear and clothes.
