Hopi Point Trail
In the middle of March just as spring break starts, instead of relaxing on a beach with friends, this group decides to go out and hike a new route through the Grand Canyon that seems like it gets hiked maybe once a week. In order to hike in the Hopi Point you must obtain permission from the Navajo people, you do this by going online and searching up "Hopi Point Grand Canyon" and the rest from there is quite simple. This hike is harder going down only because of the strain it will put on your knees and age them about 10 years afterward. Also, a common misconception about the water is that it is not actually blue, it is quite brown and quite undrinkable. Please bring enough water for 2 days if you backpack, and don't waste your time filtering this water as it tastes like sand and doesn't filter out all of the bacteria unless you boil it, and even then it will leave floaties in your water. Overall great trip with amazing newly met friends, long overdue video but more to come soon hopefully.
