La Sals trip

Now not a lot went to plan this trip however the memories made and views seen should not go underestimated. Set off on a Friday morning in August for Moab, Utah area. My first time in the area so we had a few things to knock off the bucket list. I got to see Monument Valley, Arches, and Canyonlands which are 3 big southern Utah wonders. The bigger reason for the trip was the aggressive summit attempt at Mount Peale, and I do think we would have summited if it were not for the north entrance we took instead of the south. The detour we took to save time for Saturday ended up causing us hours on a very beaten path Friday. And then the early morning rain predicted and needing to get down the strenuous road had us rushing on time to save stress on getting down. In an alternate universe, we took the original itinerary and summited Peale, I'm sure those guys are happy, but nothing to be unhappy about, the La Sals are the unvisited family members of the beautiful Southern Utah and Moab area. The two hour hike we did get to go on was stunning as you'll see in the video.
